The developers had announced that they had been working on the development of a new game called ‘Axie Infinity Origin’.
It was announced that just like the current classic game, the new mode will be filled with rewards as well. This had the entire Axie Infinity community jumping and cheering for the developers.

It was on Friday when Axie Infinity made the announcement of switching rewards from the classic game to Origin. The developers confirmed that there will no longer be any Smooth Love Potions (SLP) that the users will be able to mint in the classic mode.
The developers have provided a reason that their minting service will be unavailable for 30-days on the classic game. They are currently monitoring the entire protocol to find any exploits, abuses, and bugs with the classic game.
Until then, the entire rewarding system has been shifted to the new game. It seems that for now, the protocol is benefiting from the shift as the value of AXS has surged by 1.25% in the past 24 hours and it currently stands at $19.61.
